My biggest goal for the Art Enrichment students this year was to teach them how to use the brand new potter's wheel that we purchased. I first learned this skill in college and found it to be very difficult but very fun. I was a little nervous about how well the kids could do but they far exceeded my expectations! As you can see I taught them to be nice and steady and to let the wheel do the work for them. Hopefully we will be able to glaze these beautful bowls after SOL's.
